As the official parent education program of Hockey Canada, Chevrolet Safe & Fun Hockey provides parents with the opportunity to learn about the development process of minor hockey while experiencing the Chevrolet Safe & Fun philosophy first-hand.

And perhaps more importantly, by participating in Chevrolet Safe & Fun Hockey your kids will have fun. And, if they're having fun, they'll want to keep playing and learning about hockey skills in addition to the fundamentals of hockey - responsibility, respect, leadership, goal-setting and the importance of a positive attitude. These are values that they'll draw upon forever.

As a coach, the influence you exert over your players goes far beyond wins and losses.

That's why Chevrolet Safe & Fun Hockey is designed to help you create an environment of fun and learning. So while your players are developing their hockey skills, they're also learning the fundamental values of respect and responsibility... in hockey and in life.

The best way to develop solid hockey skills is clear instruction, team play and practice, practice, practice. And that goes for children AND coaches.

And that's exactly what Chevrolet Safe & Fun Hockey is all about. We hold local hockey Jamborees and Festivals where you can continue to develop the skills you need.

Jamborees, are a series of one day hockey schools for players (ages 6-9), parents and coaches.

Please note, this program only takes place in centres with GM dealerships.
